Chronic Fatigue Syndrome


Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) is a disorder causing extreme and persistent fatigue that lasts for a prolonged period of time.

Causes for CFS are not known.


  • Persistent fatigue
  • Muscle pain
  • Memory problems
  • Headaches
  • Joint pains
  • Difficulty in sleeping
  • Sore throat
  • Depression

Since causes are not known, there is no particular treatment to cure CFS. Treatment includes management of the symptoms with help of medications, various therapies and other treatments which may improve the specific symptoms.
